I'm publishing this UK Christmas gift guide in October to give you some thinking time. Every year a few customers get in touch in December to ask what will still arrive in time, and I'd much rather you had a few weeks to look around and make the best decision.
I've sorted my Christmas gift ideas for women by budget first and then by type of jewellery, because that's how most people I speak to like to shop. Everything below can be ordered online, and every piece comes in a K+P gift box.
What Every K+P Piece Is Made From
I hand-select every gemstone and work in sterling silver, with my gold pieces finished in gold vermeil. Vermeil is gold over a sterling silver base, never brass, steel or nickel, and it can be re-plated when it eventually wears. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver, a standard that has been part of UK hallmarking since 1300, as the Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office explains. My silver pieces carry my own 925 stamp, although a very small piece, such as earrings may go without one because there's no room for it. Christmas Gift Ideas for Women Under £50
Under £50 is where I'd start if you're buying for several people, or want a small extra to go alongside a bigger present.
Earrings
The Flat Heart Stud Earrings are £25, which makes them the easiest purchase in this guide. The Star and Moon Huggie Earrings bring a perfect amount of Christmas sparkle and the Pad Lock Heart Charm Huggie Hoop Earrings are great for layering with existing jewellery. Both pairs are £39. Between £50 and £100, pearls and mixed metals start to appear. It's a comfortable range for a sister, sister-in-law or good friend you'd like to spoil a little.
Earrings

Christmas Gift Ideas for a Wife or Girlfriend Under £200
From £100 to £199 is where I'd look for a wife, a girlfriend or a mum, when you want the gift to feel like a proper present rather than a stocking filler.
Earrings
The Gold Vermeil Hoops are £120 and the perfect everyday wear option. The Elongated Aqua Chalcedony Teardrop Earrings and the Hex Lapis Earrings are £149 each and bring in colour.
Necklaces

Milestone Christmas Gift Ideas at £200 and Over
At £200 and over, these are the pieces I'd choose for a milestone or for someone who is hard to buy for.
Earrings
The Shimmering Pearl & Tourmaline Earrings are £225, the Metropolis Grid Drop Earrings are £240 and the Icarus Waterfall Silver Earrings are £295.
Necklaces

Christmas Gift Ideas for Mum, Grandma and Mother-in-Law
For a wife or girlfriend, I'd look at the £200 and over pieces, or a gemstone ring or necklace from the under £200 range, because she'll notice the detail. Christmas gift ideas for a mum or grandma work best when the piece is simple to wear, so a gemstone bracelet or a pair of studs is a safe start. A sister or sister-in-law will usually be happiest with earrings or a bracelet under £100 that layer with what she already owns. Christmas gift ideas for a mother-in-law are the ones people worry about most. Pearls are a safe, classic choice, and if you can't decide, a gift card is a perfectly good option.
Personal Christmas Gift Ideas by Birthstone and Star Sign
The most personal gifts in this guide are the ones tied to a birth month or a star sign.
